This web page serves as a courtesy to owners, and to prospective owners, of homes and homesites within the Desert Mountain planned community of the current progress of Desert Mountain Properties, the developer, in processing its subdivision for the residentially zoned (R-4R) development parcel known as "Parcel 10." Parcel 10 currently includes 26 residential homesites (for future homebuilding) on approximately 14 acres, inclusive of the internal street (common area tract), yielding a density of 1.85 dwelling units per acre. The City of Scottsdale is the approving governmental agency. The historic project-wide stipulations for Desert Mountain required the access into Parcel 10 (and certain other designated parcels within the community) to receive staff-level approval, which was issued in September, 2008, as a precondition to the recent staff-level approval of access roadway and utility improvement plans, on file with the City. Those improvement plans are consistent with the illustration linked below, captioned "Overview of Parcel 10 Entry."
The developer is advised that one public hearing for plat approval remains to be held with respect to Parcel 10. The date is expected to be in the first quarter of 2010 and is shown as "TBD" (where “TBD” is shown, signifying “to be determined,” the date and time will be updated, following the City notifying the developer that the hearing has been scheduled):

It remains the developer's intention to update this web page periodically with respect to Parcel 10, and the developer will endeavor to do so, at least through the City hearing process. Because of its nature, however, this web page may or may not be current at any particular time it is accessed. In addition, other, more detailed, information can be made available to interested owners and prospective owners, directly from the City of Scottsdale or from the developer; this web page is not intended to serve a purpose broader than that described above and in any associated links.
