Biography
A part of the Desert Mountain team since 1991, Davis Driver has worked in residential community development sales since 1990, and has been in real estate since 1973. Prior to getting into the golf course community real estate business, he worked for a firm that is now known as Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the largest corporate real estate service firms in the world, doing office brokerage work in Chicago and Dallas.
Davis has very high standards for the information he provides himself and his buyer and seller representation clients. To meet this need, he has created three generations of a private, Desert Mountain-specific inventory management, market research, listing management and outbound marketing web-based software system over the years to serve he and his clients more efficiently and accurately than he could by using just the local Multiple Listing Service. He will be able to answer questions for you in seconds.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Davis graduated from the University of Colorado in 1973 with a degree in Finance, and moved to Arizona in 1991 to join Desert Mountain Real Estate. He has the longest tenure of all of the Desert Mountain Sales Executives, and has seen the community grow from having 35 finished homes to close to 1,700. He has been a Desert Mountain property owner and member most of the time since, and purchased a home with a membership in Desert Mountain’s Village of Lookout Ridge in September, 2011, where he now very enthusiastically lives with his wife, Ann. He is an avid, competitive golfer, having participated in more than a half-dozen national amateur tournaments, including the U.S. and British Amateurs and the U.S. Mid-Amateur, and several Arizona Opens and State Amateurs. He is also a fly-fisherman, hiker (ask him about his trips in the Grand Canyon), white-water rafter, photographer and skier. He and Ann have three children: Davis Jr., who is in the USAF, and Tommy and Haley, college students in California and Oregon.
He and Cheryl D’Anna started working together as a 2-person team in early 2010, and together, they offer a very strong level of service to their clients, while having a lot of fun in the process.
