Chef Bertrand Bouquin
Hailing from Burgundy, France, Chef Bertrand is responsible for the extensive offerings and menus at all of Desert Mountain’s 10 restaurants and grills. The James Beard Foundation Award-nominated Chef Bertrand has been honored with the highest French distinction as a Maître Cuisinier (French Master Chef), cooked on The Today Show and the USS Conway, and served as the Executive Chef at the luxurious Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, where he garnered a Mobil 5 Star rating and AAA 5 Diamonds rating for one of the restaurants in just three years. In his continued efforts to refine the cuisine available throughout Desert Mountain, Chef Bertrand is passionate about ensuring each restaurant on the property is as authentic and unique as its culinary origins. Additionally, he is proud to note that many members of his elite, 80-cook staff come from all over Europe and South Africa, creating a wonderfully rich diversity in the kitchen.AWARDS
